Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evandro Catarinense took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Portilho F.C.'s Evandro Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléber Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaká França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaká França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Botelho in the 12th minute of play. Diogo Valladares took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléber Reis. Kléber Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Diogo Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléber Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Kléber Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Catarinense in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portilho F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaká França, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Portilho F.C. booed when Vastar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portilho F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dráusio Custódio in the 38th minute. Bruninho Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Kaká França acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Renatinho Carvalho. Bruninho Recife hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Botelho made a kick off. If Evandro Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vastar FC's Simão Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 63 minutes, Silas Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vastar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silas Castro struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Kaká França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vastar FC. Silas Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kaká França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Botelho in the 72nd minute of play forced Portilho F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaká França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Silas Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vastar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute of the match Diogo Reis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká França showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Simão Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Portilho F.C.'s Bruninho Recife got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Diogo Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vastar FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Portilho F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Portilho F.C..
