An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Arruda in the 25th minute of play forced Vastar FC's goalkeeper Kléber Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Vander's late challenge caught a Vastar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Vander helped the player get up and apologised. Doriva Vander hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Locomotiva Futebol Show's Alfredão Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Locomotiva Futebol Show's Armando Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Botelho in the 90th minute of play. If Simão Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Simão Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vastar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Botelho couldn't finish the play. Vastar FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
