The Vastar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléber Reis should have stopped the shot. Kléber Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Vastar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Simão Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gernando Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Marcus Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Reis. Vastar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 34 minutes, Silas Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vastar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gernando Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Botelho in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Marcus Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vastar FC's Kléber Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Marcus Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aparecidense AA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Vastar FC's Silas Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernando Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 80 minutes on the clock, Laerte Novaes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aparecidense AA! The referee gave Vastar FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. Marcus Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Reis having to interfere. When the match was over Aparecidense AA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vastar FC throughout the match.
